Atlanta Foods International sponsors American Booth at Cheese in Bra, Italy

In September, Atlanta Foods International sponsored the American Cheese booth in Bra, Italy for Cheese. Slow Food International organizes Cheese every two years in the town of Bra – the home of Slow Food’s headquarters. Cheese debut in 1997 and it has grown to be the leading international festival for artisan cheesemakers, attracting over 100,000 visitors to the four-day event.

Our American booth featured some of the finest American Cheese producers in the United States including Rogue Creamery, Cowgirl Creamery, Jasper Hill Farm, Vermont Butter and Cheese Co., Cypress Grove and Uplands Cheese Company. For this four-day event, some of our inventory included 12 wheels of  Cabot Cloth Bound Cheddar and over 150 wheels of Rogue River Blue and Caveman Blue from Rogue Creamery.  This event is attended by people from around the world, but dominated by European customers.  Not only were the American cheeses well received, they were sold out before the end of the third day.  Thank you again to all the cheesemakers for participating in this extraordinary event!
